The spine of the work
Our story.
A family-led company, founded by a New Jersey woman, working nationwide alongside Early Intervention agencies and school districts so language is never the gate.
The team
The team behind the work.

Founder & Director
Laurie Suarez, M.Ed., LDT-C
Read her storyLaurie started taking interpreting jobs at Early Intervention evaluations in Morris County, because therapists couldn’t find anyone who spoke a family’s language and understood early-intervention vocabulary at the same time. She had spent years interpreting in courthouses and clinics; she had also sat at a kitchen table with a service plan in front of her, making sense of it on someone else’s behalf. She founded Educational Translation Services in the early 2000s as an NJEIS-contracted agency, and the work grew with the children — from IFSP meetings to IEP meetings — with the same standards in both rooms.

EI Program Supervisor
Elsie L. Ocasio-Benitez
Elsie coordinates the interpreter roster — 100+ practitioners nationwide — and runs the operations side of every assignment. She vets new interpreters, briefs the team before each case, manages district contracts, supervises performance, and is the first call when something does not go to plan. Bilingual Spanish-English; studied Computer Science at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration and Marketing.
A proud mom of two children with special needs, Elsie brings her own experience with the system to the daily work of running it well. That dual perspective — the operator’s and the parent’s — is why families and districts hear her name on the second phone call as often as the first.

Payroll Manager
Nancy Endara
Nancy has spent more than 18 years running payroll operations with precision. At ETS she handles compensation for the interpreter roster and the administrative team, ensures accurate and timely processing, and streamlines the internal workflows that keep the firm running smoothly behind the scenes.
A devoted mother of two and a passionate advocate for her daughter with special needs, Nancy brings the same patience and structure to her work that she brings to home — one of the reasons the operations side of ETS runs the way it does.
